This piece is from the Still series, a series of cloud and seascapes painted in oils on canvas. These works explore abstraction of these scapes whilst kindling the notion and sensation of awe. I am mesmerised by the sky, the cloud formations and the movement of the sun. For me it’s a constant distraction, every changing and without rest, it captures my focus and divides my thoughts. It moves me.
